2008 Terms and Conditions
Included in Rental:
- Unlimited mileage.
- Roadside assistance for the vehicle with RACE (Royal Automobile Club of Spain), and ARAG (German insurance company) Valid both of them in all Europe.
- Roadside assistance with Hymer (with more of 300 depot around all Europe)
- Guidebook of campsites in Spain-Portugal-Europe.
- Full insurance (CDW) with an exemption of 600 Euros.
- Lubricant expenses will be paid by AUTOCARAVAN EXPRESS, S.A. made payable by the customer when he presents the corresponding bills.
Other information:
** Before vehicle pickup at the depot, it is necessary to post an € 600.00 deposit / Deductible - REFUNDABLE - when terms of
contract are met at the end of the rental period.
** The price list includes unlimited mileage and roadside assistance - as well as Full vehicle insurance with RACE (Royal Automobile Club of Spain), with
a € 600.00 Deductible. The price does not include the VAT.
** Normal business hours for pickup and drop-off are 10:00h - 13:00h and 16:00h - 18:30h. . Appointments must be made for non-business hour
pickup and drop offs, as well as airport service.
** The vehicle will have normal motorhome use and will not be used to transport more people than is allowed by law, carry merchandise or be turned over to
third parties for use.
** Pets and smoking are allowed, but it is always the responsibility of the customer.
** The motorhome will be returned clean, with the residual water tanks empty. Otherwise a € 75.00 and
Maximum € 150.00 cleaning fee will be charged.
** If you are traveling to other countries, we must be notified in writing of your intensions prior to vehicle pickup.
Drivers license: The motorhome's
driver should be over 26 years old and have had a Class B (normal cars) driver's license for over two years. Some motorhomes it could be drive it with 24 years old and
have had a Class B (normal cars) driver's license for
over two years. Please ask us. The customer should be able to show AUTOCARAVAN EXPRESS, S.A. their identification (D.N.I. or Passport) and the voucher of the agent. You need to put in the voucher all extra options the customer
needs.
Insurance: The Vehicles of AUTOCARVAN EXPRESS S.A. have full insurance (CDW) with a responsibility of 600 Euros by collision. In the case of bad use or collision. This insurance is valid in all the Europe
Union. If you are traveling in other countries you should consult AUTOCARAVAN EXPRESS S.A. The insurance does not include personal property of the customer. The price of our brochure include the insurance. The vehicle must have
a normal motorhome use, and must not transport more people them in permitted by law, or carry merchandise, or be made over the use of third parties. It is possible travel to Morocco or the Occidental part of Turkey, with a
extra cost.
In the case of cancellation, having notified us in writing of the cancellation, the penalties will be:
** 31 days prior to vehicle pickup - 30% of the total amount
** 30 - 16 days prior to vehicle pickup - 50% of the total amount of rental
** 15 - to pickup - 80% of the total amount of rental
** no show - total amount of rental
RENTAL PAYMENTS:
A Deposit of 30% of
the total rental would be needed to book/confirm your reservation. Estimated total rental charge balance is to be paid at least 35 days prior to pickup of your motorhome.
Long Term Discounts:
- Periods over 30 days discount 5%
- Periods over 45 days discount 10%
The discounts are reduced from the standard rate and when the rental is more than 21 days you also get the pick up and drop off from airport or hotel
in Madrid, ready for departure kit, bedding and kitchen items free of charge.
Optional Items: If you book the rental for 19 days or more the following optional items are offered for free. For rentals under 19
days, you must pay the fees shown below.
Pick up (at airport or hotel in Madrid area) = € 55.00
Drop off (at airport or hotel in Madrid area) = € 55.00
Ready for Departure (2 gas cylinders & chemicals for toilet = € 50.00
Bedding (sheets, blankets, duvets, pillows and towels = €24.00
Kitchen Utensils (frying pans, pots, casserole dishes, glasses, cutlery= € 42.00
Air Conditioning (per day) = € 15.50
Color TV = € 12.00 per day / with Video or DVD player= € 22.00
Bicycles = $€ 9.00 per day (must rent for full rental days of Motorhome) maximum 4 bikes.
Bike Rack: for entire rental = €150.00
Baby seat= €6.00
Taxes:
The prices dont include the vat. In Spain the Tax (VAT) in 2008 is 16%.
Extending rental time
Should you wish to extend the rental time, you need to let AUTOCARAVAN EXPRESS,S.A. know within a reasonable time
limit. The confirmation of an extension will depend on the availability.
Pick up and Drop off Timetable
If the pick up or drop off is in the office of AUTOCARAVAN EXPRESS, S.A. (Madrid). If the pick up and drop
off is at the airport or in another place, its between Monday to Saturday when the flight arrives. In other case, please consult us.
Monday through Friday: 10:00 hour 13:00 hour and 16:00 hour 18:30 hour
Saturday: 10:30 hour 13:00 hour
Pick up and Drop off Fees throughout Europe and Spain:
This is only possible if your rental is up to 15 days and only in Mid or Low season, sorry they do not allow this in the
high season. Please see the rates page for costs for this service.
